Surveillance camera use is growing

The use of surveillance technology is widespread and still growing.

There's the saying, "a picture is worth a thousand words." These days, in the case of surveillance cameras, digital pictures can help tell a story.

“So you can zoom in, you can zoom out and get either a wide picture or a close up picture; you can watch and get license plates,” said Wes Picard of the features in a 700 tv line security camera.

Sicard owns Loss Prevention Services and says that from to traffic lights to storefronts, surveillance cameras are everywhere.
