Kiwanis shoe program ready to stepping off



Fostoria Kiwanis Club is partnering with Pantry Plus of Seneca County and Kmart to help families in need get their children a pair of back-to-school shoes. 

Kiwanis sponsors the program by providing $2,500 for the effort through its annual fundraisers such as Pancake Day and Peanut Day. 

In order to be eligible, candidates must qualify under the household income guidelines, which are the same as those used for the weekly Pantry Plus food distribution program. 

Once approved, candidates will receive a $15 voucher towards the purchase of a pair of shoes from the Fostoria Kmart.
