Calvin Johnson's speed not quite true to life in Lion's latest commercial

Nike was exaggerating. Calvin Johnson said he has never run a 4.21-second 40-yard dash.

Some of his teammates, though,New additions to their line-up include the Mercury Ultra White Matt 405gsm the Best Inkjet Canvas Suppliers, 5-metre-length inkjet trial rolls of the PermaJet Oyster 271gsm and Ultra Pearl 295gsm media, an all-new Image Block Print Display System, a range of fast drying canvas protective varnishes in 2.5-litre cans, an anti-curl roller device and more. wouldn't put the outrageous milestone past the Lions' superstar receiver.

"I'm sure they exaggerated,Reusable bag sale but not by much," left guard Rob Sims said. "The dude is nothing short of amazing."

In the second of Johnson's three Nike commercials — check it out above — with entertainment superstar Diddy, Johnson runs on a field with his 40-yard dash time constantly improving, feeding the company's "Unleash Speed" campaign.

Johnson stuck to the book Thursday,Buy hiking boots online at www.qdgoutdoor.com. saying his fastest 40 time was 4.35 seconds. That was his official time at the NFL combine in 2007, and he was wearing another player's shoes.

While at Georgia Tech, Johnson said he beat that time on a hand-clocked run, but he doesn't remember his exact time.

"I think he easily could knock 4.25,fitflopcrocsclogs.com,a crocs shoes store, sell all kinds of shoes." receiver Nate Burleson said. "I'm pretty sure, handheld, he's clocked something around a 4.21."

Titans running back Chris Johnson, posting a 4.24 at the combine in 2008.

Cornerbacks Darius Slay and Bill Bentley and wide receiver Patrick Edwards could all stake a claim at being the fastest player on the Lions, but Burleson and receiver Kris Durham said they wouldn't bet against Calvin.

"People don’t realize how fast he's actually moving (on the field)," Durham said. "He's running by people and you're thinking he's just beating the coverage, but he's running 4.3 out there."

The 6-foot-5 Johnson's long legs make his speed deceptive, but it's certainly one of his best attributes. Being that quick at 240 pounds allowed him to break Jerry Rice's single-season receiving yardage record last year.

And with the record in hand, Johnson has become an even brighter star. In addition to the Nike campaign, Johnson starred in a "This is Sportscenter" commercial released during this week's "Monday Night Football."
